Paint Defender is not only a member of the International Detailing Association with Certified Detailers (Skills Validated) on staff, but we are also in the worlds inaugural group of only 9 IDA Motorcycle Certified detailers. The first IDA Motorcycle certification exam group was held at the 2023 Mobile Tech Expo in Orlando, FL in January.
Developed by experienced motorcycle detailers/riders, the IDA Motorcycle certification requirements include already being a skills validated certified detailer and passing an extensive 5 part exam covering motorcycles components and general knowledge, detailing processes specific to motorcycles, common and uncommon surfaces found on motorcycles, terminology, and motorcycle safety. Additionally, we must maintain our certifications by completing a required number of continuing education training events to ensure we are at the forefront of detailing techniques and products. |

This motorcycle wash and detailing package is a great way to keep your bike looking nice. The Marbury Silver package is small but potent. This package includes custom gentle hand wash or steam clean, removes bugs and tar, and is air blown dry - all with extreme care of sensitive areas such as controls, electronics, gauges, custom accessories, etc. Rims are clean and polished, saddle bags removed and cleaned inside and out, painted areas polished (except matte finish), clean windshield, gauges, and mirrors. We also clean and condition leather such as sissy bar pad, seats, tour packs, and saddlebags. Light to moderate chrome polish. The bike is topped off with a carnauba premium wax. Wheel Rust Correction
A step up from polishing, we apply a more aggressive agent for rust removal. Perfect for correcting light to medium-depth oxidization. Cost: Starting at $100. Quote required based on visual estimate. Cost will vary depending on the wheel finish and time required. White Wall Tire Stain Removal We will clean and remove brake dust, road grime, tar, and grease, restoring and beautifying your white wall tires in the process. Cost: Starting at $60. Quote based on a visual estimate. The cost will vary depending on the gravity of the stains and how much time we believe will be required. Decal Removal We remove the most stubborn vinyl stickers, emblems, and adhesive spots from your motorcycle paint with a non-abrasive cleaner and safe techniques. Cost: Quote required based on a visual estimate. The cost will vary depending on the number of decals that need to be removed. Vinyl becomes increasingly difficult to remove as it ages, which will add more time to the estimate. Melted Rubber Removal We return your exhaust chrome to its original state by removing rubber scuff-marks safely and carefully. Cost: Starting at $60. Quote required based on a visual estimate. Extreme Chrome Polishing The chrome on your bike is a beautiful addition that can fall victim to surface rust, stains, scuffing, and light scratches. It is important to solve these problems before it is too late! Extra time and products will be needed to restore it to its best shine. Cost: Starting at $80. Quote required based on a visual estimate. The cost will vary depending on chrome condition. Paint Correction A step up from polishing, we apply a more aggressive agent for paint correction. Perfect for correcting light to medium-deep scratches, oxidation, and swirl marks, paint correction removes scratches by slowly polishing away microscopic layers of the clear coat. This usually requires a Marbury Silver, Stock Law Gap Gold, or Bama Bike Fest Showroom package first - at additional cost. Cost: Starting at $80. Quote will be based on a visual estimate. |

Leather Protection
Gtechniq Leather Guard forms a durable abrasion resistant matte finish which offers the best ever protection against abrasion damage, UV rays, dye transfer and other discoloration. With added antimicrobial technology, treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria. Friction protection is particularly important on seat bolsters, seat piping and any other high wear areas. The anti-stain function is most relevant for light colored leathers which are typically stained by dark colored fabrics such as indigo jeans. Paint Defender has created the following assessment chart of our coating options based on data available from the manufacturer and our own experience with not only these products, but a very wide variety of other coatings from across the industry. Most other coatings fall in the 2 to 4 range (5 being the industry best, 1 is the industry worst).

The pricing chart below is based on bike with new or nearly perfect paintwork. If your paintwork is more than a year old, you should anticipate some level of polish, enhancement, or correction. This work must be done prior to applying the coating and could range from $80 to $400 in additional cost depending on the condition of the paintwork and areas of the bike being corrected.
