Ceramic Coatings provide a durable, long lasting, and semi-permanent protective barrier over your painted surfaces, wheels, plastics, and even glass. Think of it as a semi-permanent “super wax” that lasts multiple years.
Ceramic coatings can be applied to your car, truck, motorcycle, recreation vehicle (RV), all terrain vehicle (ATV), boat, and even airplanes / aircraft. They protect your vehicle’s paint finish against: oxidation, loss of gloss, UV damage, color fading, bug impacts, acid rain, and paint chalking. Because the coatings are essentially a ‘non-stick’ surface, dirt, dust, pollen, and other things would rather wash off than stick to your surface.
Paint Defender uses professional grade products. These are not available to the general public and require a complete process to insure the best possible results.
The professional process requires: hand washing the vehicle; removing waxes, oils, and other road grime; decontaminating iron and fallout, removing other particulates from the paint using a clay bar treatment; a complete single stage machine polish using an ultra fine gloss enhancing polish, and finally applying the professional grade coating. You should expect this to take two full days.
If your paint requires gloss enhancement or paint correction to remove deeper swirl marks or other imperfections, the cost will be higher and the process will take longer.

If your vehicle is new and does not require any paint enhancement or correction, we can apply the coating after our multi-step wash and preparation process.

The pricing chart below is based on vehicles with new or nearly perfect paintwork. If your paintwork is more than a year old, you should anticipate some level of polish, enhancement, or correction. This work must be done prior to applying the coating and could range from $400 to $1800 in additional cost depending on the condition of the paintwork and size of the vehicle.
